Delete your Shelf Fighters account
Applies to Shelf Fighters (dev.titleos.shelffighters),
published by Sothis Gaming.
Deleting your account erases it and everything attached to it. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. There is no separate "deactivate" state — the account is gone.
In the app
Profile → Delete my account.
This is the complete route and the one to use if you can still open the game. No email, no waiting, and no request to approve — it happens when you confirm it.
If you can no longer open the app
For example if you have lost or replaced the device, email [email protected] with the subject:
Shelf Fighters Account Deletion Request
Include your User ID. It is on the Profile screen under "Account" — tapping it copies it to the clipboard. It looks like this:
3f2a91c4-7b0e-4d18-9a55-1c6e2f4b8d03
The User ID is the only thing that reliably identifies an account. No email address is stored against your account, so a request without it usually cannot be matched to the right player. Sending the email from the Google account you play on helps, but it is the User ID that does the work.
What is deleted
- Your account and your Google Play Games player ID
- Your display name
- Your roster — every fighter and item you have scanned
- Stat upgrades, energy balance, and the record of how they were earned
- Story progress and Endless run history, including leaderboard entries
- Lexicon unlocks and your chosen avatar
The copy held on your phone is cleared at the same time.
What is kept, and for how long
Deletion removes everything above. There is one narrow exception, stated here because a page claiming otherwise would be untrue:
- If an account is subject to an active ban when it is deleted, a one-way cryptographic hash of the Play Games player ID is retained, together with the reason and expiry, so that the ban cannot be escaped by deleting the account and signing up again. No name, no game data, and no readable identifier is kept — the hash cannot be turned back into an account. It is deleted automatically once the ban expires, and for a ban with no expiry it is deleted after five years at the latest.
- Administrative records of moderation actions are retained, with the reference to the deleted account removed.
Accounts that are not banned leave nothing behind at all.
Timing
Deleted data is removed from live systems immediately and purged from encrypted database backups within 30 days.
The test build is a separate app
Shelf Fighters (Canary), dev.titleos.shelffighters.canary, is a
separate app with its own account on its own server. Deleting your Shelf Fighters
account does not touch it, and the reverse is also true. It follows the same two
routes described above — see its
privacy policy.
